vieOn October 11, 2024, rounds 2 – 3 and the awards ceremony for the View into the Past 2024 competition took place at both Phú Nhuận and Tân Phú campuses.
Nine competing teams showcased their talents in the last two rounds, which included screening short films about historical figures using AI tools and dressing up as these characters to perform. The prominent historical figures featured included Hai Bà Trưng, Ngô Quyền, Lý Thường Kiệt, Lý Chiêu Hoàng, Trần Cảnh, Trần Hưng Đạo, Quang Trung, Nam Phương Hoàng Hậu, and Võ Thị Sáu.
In the second round, the teams created short films using AI that authentically reenacted historical events and figures. The performances of characters like Trần Thái Tông, Lý Chiêu Hoàng, and Võ Thị Sáu left a strong impression on the audience, placing them among the top three teams with the most impressive footage.
In the third round, the students donned costumes to show their acting talents to recreate the heroic moments of history, from victories against foreign invasions to significant milestones in Vietnam’s resistance against colonialism.
The competition concluded with a dramatic awards ceremony. The first prize went to the Hai Bà Trưng team (Class 10.1), the second prize belonged to the Trần Cảnh team (7th and 8th grades), and the third prize went to the Lý Chiêu Hoàng team (Class 11.2). These achievements further affirm the creativity and efforts of the students in bringing Vietnamese history closer to the international learning environment.
