What is RADI – RAHI?

At Nam Uc Scotch AGS, we believe that education is not just about acquiring knowledge, skills, and exams. Education is also about developing character – the roots of who we are and how we act. That is why we have an explicit framework for character education that guides our curriculum and pedagogy. Our framework is based on two sets of skills: R.A.D.I for oneself and R.A.H.I for interacting with others. These skills are not only taught in the classroom but also practised in the school community and beyond.

Students develop determination to overcome difficulties, engage in continuous learning, and fearlessly face future challenges.

Achievement

Students strive to pursue academic achievements based on individual and collective goals, fostering a dynamic and positive learning environment.

Discipline

Students maintain high discipline through effective time management, adherence to rules, and the upholding of principles that enable them to excel academically and in extracurricular activities.

Inquiry

Students nurture a passion for learning, seeking new knowledge, improving critical thinking, and achieving personal growth through lifelong learning skills.

Students practise respectful behaviours through small actions such as genuine greetings, active listening and sharing, creating a positive and respectful environment.

Students express gratitude through participation in community-helping activities, showing appreciation to teachers, and assisting their peers in their studies.

Students maximise their potential and contribute to building a friendly and supportive student community.

Integrity

Students practise and demonstrate honesty in various aspects of life, including complying with examination, regulations, treating others sincerely, and voicing their opinion with courage.
